Your fund needs an audit every year

Every self-managed super fund must be audited each year by an approved SMSF auditor before its annual return is lodged. We work only through accountants and financial planners, never with trustees directly.

What an audit is

What we check

Your fund's financial statements, and that it has kept to the super laws during the year.

What you receive

An audit report, and a management letter if anything needs fixing.

Who signs it

An ASIC-registered SMSF auditor, named on the report with their auditor number.

Why we work through your accountant

Your accountant prepares the fund's accounts and sends us the papers. The audit is independent of them, but working through them means you aren't asked for the same document twice.

If you'd like us to audit your fund

Please ask your accountant or financial planner. They can send your fund to us.

What it costs

$300 per fund before GST ($330 with GST).
